Welcome to the official launch of the Kick It Up A Notch Academy of Dance website! The purpose of this blog is to provide insight and updates to the dance world, particularly at Kick It Up A Notch in Aldergrove, BC.
The blog will be written by the owners, Chris and Tonya Wejr. Chris is a principal of an elementary school so the blog will often discuss educational issues that impact the topic of dance - from giving students effective feedback to the way dance is brushed aside in many of our public schools. Tonya is the owner and director of the studio so she will provide insight, opinions, and updates on events and issues that surround the studio and dance in general.
